Karl Pulo joins Senglea Athletic

Senglea Athletic signed thirty-year old defender Karl Pulo on loan from Gzira United.

Pulo started his career at the Paola Hibernians nursery before moving on to Pietà Hotspurs where he made his senior team debut. In summer 2009, he was transferred to Birkirkara but two years later, he moved to Tarxien Rainbows. He spent one year on loan at Mosta in 2014/15 and in September 2015, he was transferred to Gzira United. Last season, he was loaned to St. Andrews first and later to Santa Lucia.

Senglea, who have appointed Mario Muscat as their new coach, have earlier secured the services of Marcelo Dias, Manolito Micallef, Andrei Spiteri and goalkeeper Anthony Curmi. Leighton Grech and goalkeeper Matthew Farrugia have agreed new deals with the club while Taisei Marukawa was confirmed for next season.
