Another narrow defeat for Birkirkara girls in Lithuania

Birkirkara were unlucky to suffer another narrow defeat in Group 10 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers as they lost 0-1 to KF Vllaznia at the SRC Alytus stadionas in Alytus, Lithuania on Saturday.

US striker Amanda Sh’Rae Doyle scored the all-important goal for the Albanian side on the 16th minute.

On Tuesday, the Stripes take on Wexford Youths. Wexford collected their first points on Saturday after defeating Gintra 2-1 after losing 1-3 to Vllaznia on Wednesday.
