Sliema Wanderers signed towering Senegalese striker Seydou Sow.

The twenty five year old had been playing in Italy in recent years after coming through the AJ Auxerre and Atalanta youth sector. He played for Beira-Mar in Portugal before moving back to Italy where he played for Baveno, Fenegrò, Saronno and Arconatese.

The Wanderers, who have appointed Alfonso Greco as their new coach, had earlier signed Alex Satariano, Juri Cisotti, Antonio Stelitano, Juan Cruz Gill, Jose Cleangelo Periera Dias and Stanimir Miloskovic.
