Mosta FC signed twenty three year old midfielder Gabriel Aquilina on loan from Sliema Wanderers.

A product of Sliema Wanderers, Aquilina had spells on loan at Gzira United in 2014/15 and 2016/17 and then at Tarxien Rainbows in the latter part of season 2017/18 and 2018/19.

The club had earlier signed Nikita Kotlov, Edin Murga, Sergio Leonardo Villarreal Ruiz Mamadou Salieu Jallow, David Nworah Ifeanyi , Gilberto Carrara Martins Leite and Weverton Gomes Souza.
