The draws for the IZIBET Amateur League 1 and the IZIBET Amateur League 2 2024/25 were held on Wednesday by Malta FA General Secretary Dr Angelo Chetcuti and Malta FA Director Football Operations Stephen Azzopardi.

Taking part in the IZIBET Amateur League 1 are Attard, Birzebbuga St. Peter’s, Gharghur, Kirkop United, Luqa St. Andrew’s, Marsaskala, Mellieha, Msida St. Joseph, Pembroke Athleta, Qormi, Qrendi, Rabat Ajax, San Gwann, Vittoriosa Stars, Xghajra Tornados and Zejtun Corinthians.

In the first phase, the teams will be playing on a single round-robin basis.

In the second phase, teams will be divided in the Top 6 Group and the Play-Out Group for the remaining ten teams. Teams will be playing once again on a single round-robin basis.

The top two teams in the Top 6 will be promoted to the Challenge League while the bottom four teams in the Play-Out Group will be relegated to Amateur League 2.

San Gwann vs Marsaskala

Birzebbuga St. Peter’s vs Rabat Ajax

Attard vs Zejtun Corinthians

Meanwhile Dingli Swallows, Ghaxaq, Kalkara United, Mdina Knights, Mqabba, Santa Venera Lightnings, Siggiewi, St. George’s, Ta’ Xbiex and Victoria Hotspurs in the Amateur League 2.

In the first phase, teams will be playing on a double round-robin basis.

The top four teams will play in the Top 4 Group on a single round-robin basis. The top two teams will be promoted to the Amateur League 1.
