The top teams from last season Luxol St. Andrews and Valletta Futsal lock horns once again in MD1 of the new Futsal League kicking off early in October.
Both sides shall therefore meet again following the curtain raiser for this Futsal season with the Super Cup that officially opens the season on Friday 27th September.
The draws of the Elite and Amateur League were held on Friday afternoon with Swieqi United and University of Malta also completing this Elite League between four sides and to be played over four Rounds.

Swieqi United vs University of Malta
Moreover, the Amateur League will see the participation of six teams with Luxol St. Andrews and Swieqi the only sides with a reserve side, called B team, in this Amateur League, they will be joined by South Boys, Qormi, Żurrieq and Marsascala.

Malta FA Vice President Dr. Matthew Paris congratulated Luxol St. Andrews following their recent Preliminary Round UEFA Futsal Champions League Feat winning their group in Norway and qualifying to the next Round to be played shortly in Prague, Czech Republic.
The season will officially kick off on September 27 with the Super Cup clash between champions and Knock-Out holders Luxol St Andrews and league runners-up Valletta Futsal.
