Zejtun Corinthians and Zebbug Rangers shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in one of the two matches from the BOV First Division in programme at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

Robeiro do Nascimento Santos put Zejtun ahead nine minutes in the second half but nine minutes from time, Randall Vella converted a penalty to level matters for Zebbug.

In another match, Erjon Beu scored twice as Lija Athletic defeated Pembroke Athleta 2-1.

Beu put Lija ahead on the 2nd minute and although Joao Pedro Oliveira Santos equalised four minutes later, the Albanian striker notched the winner on the 76th.
