Senglea make it two wins in a row

Senglea Athletic maintained their unbeaten record as they came from behind to beat Mosta 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

This was the second win in a row for the team led by Steven Vella and Mario Muscat and now they share the top spot in the BOV Premier League together with Sirens on the seven-point mark.

Nikita Kotlov put Mosta ahead on the 18th minute when he received an assist by Matias Muchardi, slotting the ball past goalkeeper Anthony Curmi.

Senglea equalised on the 34th minute. Taisei Marukawa received a cross from the right by Sean Cipriott, hitting home past Andreas Vella.

On the 69th minute, Senglea notched the winner as substitute Wilfried Zamble pounced on a loose ball following a clearance by Curmi and lobbed the ball over the Mosta goalkeeper.
