Zebbug Rangers and Lija Athletic both came from behind to register identical 2-1 wins in the two matches from the BOV First Division at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

In the first match, Zebbug defeated Swieqi United. Felipe Nunes Fernandes put Swieqi ahead on the 10th minute but Muda Fagbeja equalised just before half-time. Fagbeja notched the winner on the 75th.

On the other hand, in the second match, Lija beat Mqabba. The latter forged ahead on the 24th minute thanks to John Micallef but Erjon Beu levelled matters on the 26th and the Albanian converted a penalty three minutes from time to hand Lija their second win.
