Qormi came back from a goal down to beat Fgura United in one of the two BOV First Division matches in programme at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

Thomas Grech gave Fgura an early lead after just three minutes by a Jordy Lokando penalty restored equilibrium on the 8th. Romulo Silva Santos made it 2-1 on the 26th and nine minutes later, Francesco Gusman added another for Vince Carbonaro’s side.

In another match, Naxxar Lions and Pieta Hotspurs shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Edson Farias converted a penalty on the 15th minute to put Naxxar ahead but another penalty, this time by Jose Lucas Caetano da Silva for the Hotspurs, in added time, levelled matters.
