Zurrieq registered a comfortable 4-1 win over Mellieha in one of the two BOV Second Division matches in programme at the Luxol Stadium.

An own goal on the 8th minute put Zurrieq ahead and Andre Joe Cutajar doubled the score on the 13th. Ayrton Micallef made it 3-0 eight minutes from the end of the first half. Seven minutes in the second half, Michael Micallef pulled one back for Mellieha but Mauro Bonnici scored a fourth goal for Zurrieq on the 90th.

In another match, Melita defeated Mgarr United 2-1. Fabien Lufi opened the score on the 24th and Andrew Sant made it 2-0 nine minutes later. Matthew Agius scored a consolation goal for Mgarr on the 61st.
