Three Premier League players suspended

Three Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Matias Nicolas Garcia (Floriana), Zachary Scerri (Gzira) and Marko Jovicic (Hibernians) are therefore ruled out of the weekend’s matches.

Garcia will be missing the game against Gudja United, Zachary Scerri the game against Balzan while Jovicic skips the match against Mosta.

In Division 1, Jordy Lokando (Qormi) were banned for three matches while Kevin Camilleri and Kurt Magro (Mqabba), Clive Gauci and James Scicluna (Pieta), Dunstan Zarb (Qrendi) and Luke Zammit (Swieqi) and St. George’s staff member Ivan Camilleri was banned for one match.

In Division 2, Zack Bowman was suspended for four matches while Aidan Azzopardi (Rabat) and Glenn Brincat (Xghajra) were handed a three-match ban. Ronan Cassar (Luqa) and Ryan Previ (Marsa) were suspended for one match.

In Division 3, Bledi Alla (Attard) was suspended for one match.
