Ghaxaq and Siggiewi joined Marsaskala and Gharghur on top the BOV Third Division following the two matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium on Monday.

Goals by Dean Agius on the 7th minute and Uros Markovic four minutes later gave Ghaxaq a 2-0 win over Msida St. Joseph.

On the other hand, Mtarfa held Siggiewi in a goalless draw.

Marsaskala, Ghaxaq, Gharghur and Siggiewi lead the way with 7 points, followed by Attard on 6, Kirkop 5, Msida 4, Mtarfa and Sta. Venera 2, Mdina 1, Dingli and Ta’ Xbiex 0.
