Marsaxlokk failed to regain the top spot in the BOV Second Division after being held in a goalless draw by Luqa St. Andrew’s at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.

On the other hand, Mgarr United defeated Mellieha 2-0.

Jean Paul Grima put Mgarr ahead on the 28th and Jamie Lee Micallef doubled the score eight minutes in the second half. 

Marsa lead the way with 18 points, followed by Marsaxlokk on 17, Mgarr 16, Melita 14, San Gwann and Zurrieq 13, Rabat 12, Kalkara 10, Birzebbuga and Xghajra 8, Zabbar 7, Mellieha 6, Luqa 5.
