Six Premier League players suspended

Six Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Rundell Winchester (Gudja), Sean Cipriott and Elvis Sakyi (Senglea), Sergio Raphael dos Anjos (Sirens), Edmond Agius (Sliema) and Daniel Zerafa (Tarxien) are therefore ruled out of the Match-Day 12.

Winchester, Cipriott and Sakyi are ruled out of Gudja vs Senglea, Sergio Raphael and Daniel Zerafa will skip Tarxien vs Sirens while Edmond Agius will miss the game against his former team Birkirkara.

Shawn Borg (Fgura), Kurt Magro (Mqabba), Jordy Lokando (Qormi), Steven Schembri (Qrendi), Dion Fava and Gaetano Gesualdi (Zebbug) were suspended for one match in Division 1. Lija Athletic official Joseph Sammut and Pieta Hotpsurs official Daniel Psaila were banned for one match

Brendan Scerri (Birzebbuga) was banned for two matches in Division 2 while Samba Camara (Luqa), Glenn Attard and Isaac Falzon (Xghajra) were suspended for one match.

In Division 3, Malcolm Attard and Jean Claude Cachia (Attard), Etienne Farrugia and Dylan Mercieca (Dingli) and Darren Farrugia (Mtarfa) were all banned for three matches. Jonathan Bugeja (Kirkop), Joseph Chetcuti, Radnor Farrugia and Claudio Venuto (Marsaskala) and Julian Zammit (Msida) were suspended for one match. Mtarfa FC coach Malcolm Borg was handed a six-match ban while Attard official Edward Catania was suspended for two matches.
