Leaders Birkirkara, second-placed Mgarr United and third-placed Swieqi United all registered wins in the three matches from the BOV Women’s League on Tuesday.
At the Dingli Ground, captain Stephania Farrugia and Ethiopian international Loza Abera scored two goals each as Birkirkara defeated Kirkop United 4-0.
Abera put the Stripes ahead ten minutes in the second half and Farrugia increased the lead with goals on the 74th and 82nd. Abera added another two minutes from time.

Simona Krstanoska gave Mosta the lead after just one minute but Mgarr hit back with a Haley Bugeja strike on the 5th minute before the top Mgarr striker added another two goals on the 27th and 45th.

At the Charles Abela Stadium, Swieqi United scored five in each half to beat Hibernians 10-0.
Jade Flask opened the score on the 26th and Aleksandra Georgieva made it 2-0 on the 34th. Two minutes later, Flask added another with Ruth Steer-Chetham and Charlene Zammit scoring in the final two minutes of the first half. In the second half, a Jade Flask penalty on the 51st and another goal by Flask increased the lead to seven-nil with Kelly Agius Pace (70′), Demi Magrin (81′) and Chloe Ann Ellul (89′) adding another three goals.

Swieqi defeated Mtarfa 6-0 while Mgarr beat third-placed Mosta 6-1. Birkirkara closed in on Raiders GFC, beating them 4-0 while in another match, Kirkop United defeated Hibernians 1-0.
