After losing narrowly to Birkirkara last week, leaders Floriana will be hoping to bounce back as they take on Balzan in one of the four BOV Premier League matches in programme on Saturday.
Birkirkara take on Senglea Athletic, Gudja United face Hamrun Spartans while Tarxien Rainbows and Hibernians cross swords in the derby.
Gudja United vs Hamrun Spartans, kick-off 14:00 Centenary Stadium
Gudja suffered back to back defeats to Mosta and Hibernians and share third place from bottom with Sliema and Senglea while Hamrun are currently ninth on 18 points but failed to win any of their last seven matches.
Mattia Cinquini is ruled out for Hamrun as he serves a one-match ban.
The first round clash between Gudja and Hamrun ended in a 2-2 draw.
Birkirkara vs Senglea Athletic, kick-off 16:15 Centenary Stadium
Four wins from the last five matches enabled the Stripes to climb to the seventh place. Senglea, on the other hand, failed to win any of their last seven matches, earning only three points in draws.
In the first round, Senglea had registered a shock 1-0 win over Birkirkara.
Tarxien Rainbows vs Hibernians, kick-off 14:00 National Stadium
Despite losing thirteen out of their last fourteen matches, Tarxien will be aiming to making life difficult for third-placed Hibernians who are unbeaten in seven matches and winning five.
The Rainbows will be without the suspended Marco Botta.
Hibernians defeated Tarxien 4-1 in the first round.
Balzan vs Floriana, kick-off 16:00 National Stadium
After suffering their first defeat this season, Floriana will be aiming at returning to winning ways with a win over sixth-placed Balzan. Balzan, on the other hand, are coming from back-to-back wins over Santa Lucia and Sliema Wanderers.
In the first round, Floriana registered a narrow 1-0 win.
