Floriana secured the services of Brazilian winger Marcelo Dias from Senglea Athletic.

The thirty-four year old spent the last eight years playing with Hibernians, apart from a six-month spell with Al Ahed of Lebanon in the latter part of season 2013/14 before moving to Senglea last summer. Dias had started his career at Águia de Marabá FC in Brazil.
