Two new signings for Tarxien Rainbows

Tarxien Rainbows strengthened their squad with the signing of Luca Brincat and Dhonthan Santos da Hora on loan until the end of the season from Gzira United and Qrendi respectively.

Twenty-two year old Luca Brincat had already played for the Rainbows at youth level before joining Sliema Wanderers. He moved to Gzira United in summer 2017 and followig a spell with Qrendi mid-way through last season, he returned with the Maroons.

Twenty-nine year old striker Dhonatan Santos da Hora started his career with Santos in Brazil and later played for Marilia before moving to Europe to join Gloria Bistrita in Romania. Later, he joined Minaur Baia Mare also in Romania. He moved to Malta in 2015 to join Ghajnsielem and the following season, he moved to Qrendi. He spent six months in Kosovo with KF Vellaznimi but in January 2019 moved back to Malta to join Gudja United. Last summer, he signed for Qrendi.

Tarxien Rainbows had earlier secured the services of veteran goalkeeper Matthew Towns.
