The Malta Futsal national team suffered a heavy 0-11 defeat to Poland in the final match from Group C of the UEFA Futsal EURO Preliminary Round at the National Sports School in Pembroke on Saturday.

Goals by Sebastian Leszczak on the 4th and Michal Marek on the 6th put Poland two goals ahead. Robert Gladczak scored a third on the 11th, Dominik Solecki a fourth on the 15th and Marek once again on the 19th to put the group winners five goals ahead.

Adam Wedzony increased the lead on the 23rd and three minutes later, Tomasz Lutecki scored Poland’s seventh. However more goals were on the way with Wedzony and Lesczak scoring on the 31st, Gladczak on the 33rd and Lutecki on the 37th.
