Zebbug Rangers came from behind to beat neighbours Qormi 2-1 in the derby in a match from the BOV First Division at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

Nick Borg converted a penalty on the 72nd minute to hand Qormi the lead but three minutes later, Lawrence Chiedozie equalised. Saturday Nanapere scored a penalty in stoppage time to make it 2-1 for Zebbug.

Meanwhile a goal by Kemmu Degran Jackson on the 24th minute gave St. Andrews a narrow win over Pieta’ Hotspurs in another match.

Zejtun lead the way with 38 points followed by Lija on 36, Qrendi 32, Naxxar 31, Pembroke 30, St. Andrews 29, Zebbug 27, Pieta’ 24, Qormi and Swieqi 21, Fgura 19, Mqabba, St. George’s and Vittoriosa 16.
