San Gwann moved top in the BOV Second Division as the the Luxol Stadium on Saturday. 

Joao Pedro Vargas gave San Gwann the lead on the 7th minute and Jake Bowman doubled the score eight minutes from the end of the first half.

On the other hand, Zabbar St. Patrick collected three precious points in the battle against relegation as they defeated Rabat Ajax 2-0 thanks to goals by Aud-Gustin James Obaje on the 22nd and Aidan Agius Gilford on the 86th.

San Gwann lead the way with 38 points, followed by Marsa and Marsaxlokk on 37, Mgarr and Rabat 31, Zurrieq 28, Melita 25, Kalkara and Zabbar 20, Mellieha 18, Birzebbuga 16, Xghajra 13 and Luqa 9.
