After beating Georgia 2-1 on Thursday to register the first ever win in a qualification round proper in the UEFA Women’s EURO, Malta hosts Bosnia-Herzegovina in another match from Group B at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday, kick-off at 18:30.
Malta is currently fourth in the group with four points, three ahead of Israel and four ahead of bottom-placed Georgia.
Bosnia-Herzegovina, on the other hand, lie in third place with four wins and two defeats. They defeated Georgia 7-1 at home, Malta 2-0 at home, Israel 3-1 away from home and Israel 1-0 at home and suffered two identical 2-0 defeats to Denmark and Italy away from home.
For this match, Malta coach Mark Gatt will be able to rely on Italian-based duo Nicole Sciberras and Shona Zammit who missed the game against Georgia.
