Drasko Braunovic appointed Valletta FC technical director

Valletta FC have appointed Drasko Braunovic as their new technical director.

Braunovic had moved to Malta in February, joining Senglea Athletic as team manager.

As a player, Drasko Braunovic had spent eight years playing in Malta. Braunovic had joined Rabat Ajax in summer 1993, spending three years with the Magpies. In 1996, he moved to Valletta where he spent another three years before moving to Birkirkara in 1999 where he played for two years.

On his return to his native Montenegro, Braunovic had served for eight years as Sports Director of FK Bokelj.

Meanwhile Gilbert Agius has been confirmed as assistant coach following the extension of the contract of coach Giovanni Tedesco.
