The Eurobridge Pre Season Tournament, organised by Fgura United, kicked-off on Saturday at the Charles Abela Stadium, Mosta.
In the first match, Swieqi United defeated Second Division champions Marsa 2-1. Lydon Micallef handed Marsa the lead on the 14th minute but eight minutes in the second half, Frank Temile levelled matters for Swieqi and Kristian Sultana converted a penalty to notch the winner six minutes from time.
On the other hand, Fgura United defeated Qormi 2-0 courtesy of Gilbert Martin on the 73rd and a Giovanni Galea penalty four minutes from time.
