Sliema Wanderers sign Brazilian central defender

Sliema Wanderers signed Brazilian thirty year old central defender Arthur Cunha da Rocha.

Arthur Cunha started his career with Fluminense and played for Desportivo Brasil before a spell on loan with Estoril in Portugal. After moving back to Brazil, he played for Boavista SC, Duque de Caxias, Tupi FC, Uberaba SC and EC Mamore. In 2016, he moved to Indonesia where he played for Mitra Kukar, Arema FC and Persipura.

The Wanderers had earlier signed Myles Beerman, Denilson, Sylvano Comvalius, Ruslan Kisil, Danny Holla, Oscar Linton, Nuno Malheiro, Riki Kakinuma Alessandro Milesi, Hugo Meira and young Sebastian Grech while extending the contracts of Gilmar, Antonio Stelitano, Juri Cisotti and Edmond Agius.
