Women’s national team hosts Denmark in difficult match

The Malta women’s national team hosts Denmark in another match from Group B of the UEFA Women’s EURO at the Centenary Stadium on Tuesday, kick-off at 18:30.

This will definitely be a difficult game for Malta, considering that Denmark have won the six games played so far, without conceding any goal and scoring thirty-three. They share the top spot with Italy who, however, scored nineteen and conceded two.

Denmark had defeated Malta 8-0 in the opening match in August last year but since then they also managed to beat Georgia 14-0 in November. Malta, on the other hand, has collected four points so far thanks to a 1-1 draw with Israel and a 2-1 win over Georgia.

After this game, Malta will play the focus will turn on the final two matches away from home against Georgia on November 26 and Israel on December 1.

The match will be broadcast on TVM2.
