Melita registered a second win in Group C of the BOV National Amateur League as they defeated Sta. Venera Lightnings 4-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.
Eman Falzon notched a hat-trick with goals on the 18th, 30th and 45th with Michael Cachia adding another on the 58th.
In another match, Kalkara United defeated Xghajra Tornados 2-1.
Ronnie Celeste put Kalkara ahead on the 17th minute but Royter Degiorgio equalised on the 45th. However Isaac Galea scored on the 91st minute to hand Kalkara the three points.
