Three match-ban for Gzira United duo

Jackson Usuga Mendoza and Omar Elouni of Gzira United were both handed a three-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following match day 6 of the BOV Premier League.

Francesco Verde (Birkirkara), Jamie Zerafa (Santa Lucia), Matthew Farrugia (Senglea), Riki Kakinuma (Sliema) and Anderson de Barros (Zejtun) were all banned for one match.

Elouni and Mendoza will miss the games against Hamrun, Sliema and Santa Lucia. Jamie Zerafa is ruled out of the game against Mosta, De Barros the clash with Hibernians, Verde the game against Floriana and Kakinuma the clash with Balzan.

Santa Lucia president Robert Micallef was suspended for two matches.

In the Challenge League, Donys Quintero (Fgura) was handed a one-match ban While Ryan Polidano (Ta’ Xbiex) and Tristan Duncan (Zabbar) were suspended for one match in the National Amateur League. Msida official Giuseppe Cristaldi was suspended for two matches and Siggiewi official Elton Agius was suspended for four matches.
