Marsa joined Pembroke Athleta and San Gwann on top the BOV Challenge League as they defeated Swieqi United 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
Lydon Micallef scored the all-important goal on the 9th minute.
In another match, Marsaxlokk and Vittoriosa Stars shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
An own goal put Vittoriosa ahead just before the end of the first half but four minutes in added time, Marsaxlokk rescued a point thanks to a goal by Pablo Doffo.
