Ten Premier League players suspended

Six Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner with the worst hit being Roberio do Nascimento Santos (Zejtun) and Gianluca Zammit (Lija) who were handed a four-match ban and a three match ban respectively.

Fernando Javier Brandan and Juan Cruz Gill (Lija), Michael Camilleri (Santa Lucia) and Diego Albanese (Zejtun) were all banned for one match.

Roberio Santos is ruled out of Zejtun’s next four matches against Valletta, Mosta, Tarxien and Floriana. Albanese will miss the game against Valletta. Gianluca Zammit will skip the matches against Mosta, Valletta and Floriana. Also ruled out of the clash with Mosta are Fernando Javier Brandan and Juan Cruz Gill. Camilleri of Santa Lucia is ruled out of the match against Senglea.

In the Challenge League, Steve Meilak (Naxxar), Dunstan Zarb (Qrendi), Courage Omoruanzoje (San Gwann), Cain Cutajar and Joseph Willy (Swieqi)
