Fgura United defeated St. Andrews 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller in a match from the BOV Challenge League at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.
Dylan Caruana put Fgura ahead on the 21st minute but before the end of the first half, William Camilleri equalised. Donys Aldair Quintero made it 2-1 two minutes in the second half. Sebastian Cassar Torregiani levelled matters on the 65th. An own goal by William Camilleri ten minutes from time restored the lead for Fgura but one minute in added time, Nicholas Bradshaw made it 3-3. However, Sergio Hili scored a fourth goal for Fgura on the 94th minute.
Meanwhile San Gwann joined Swieqi United in third place thanks to a 3-1 win over Qrendi. Sjaak Kuyper put San Gwann ahead on the 8th minute and a brace by Quadri Adebayo Adediran on the 33rd and 51st increased the lead to 3-0. Sebastian Perdomo Esquivel pulled one back on the 55th minute.
