San Gwann stay third one point ahead of Swieqi United after the two teams shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw in a match from the BOV Challenge League at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

Quadri Adebayo Adediran put San Gwann ahead on the 17th minute but goals by Alan Schembri Wismayer on the 32nd and Joseph Willy two minutes later turned the score in Swieqi’s favour. Andrea Zammit levelled matters on the 84th but two minutes from time, Frank Temile converted a penalty on make it 3-2 for Swieqi. However a penalty two minutes in added time by Clifford Gauci restored equilibrium.

In another match, St. Andrews defeated Qormi 3-0 thanks to goals by Nicholas Bradshaw on the 7th and 45th and Gunnar Stefansson on the 37th.

Meanwhile the match Marsaxlokk vs St. George’s in programme on Sunday at the Centenary Stadium at 15:00 has been postponed.

Mqabba vs Vittoriosa, in programme at the Centenary Stadium, will now kick-off at 15:00
