Hamrun Spartans signed Estonian international defender Nikita Baranov.
The twenty eight year old started his career with FC Puuma and the moved to Rakvere FC Flora. He then had spells with FC Ararat, FC Warrior Valga and FC Flora Tallinn – with both the first team and the second team. In 2017, he moved to Kristiansund BK in Norway and the following year, moved to Sogndal IL also in Norway.
