The Spiro Mizzi Foundation will continue to support Vittoriosa Stars.

Addressing a press conference at the club premises on Tuesday, Chev Maurice Mizzi Founder and Chairman of the Spiro Mizzi Foundation explained that the foundation was set up in order to help organisations in Cottonera. He said he felt very proud to be able to help one of the leading clubs in the Three Cities.

Chev Mizzi added that he hopes more people would come forward to help financially the Foundation so that it could continue its mission to help the people of Cottonera.

Former club secretary Charles Camenzuli spoke about the history of the Club and the important role it has always played at Vittoriosa.

Vice-president Lawrence Seychell explained that this contribution would help the club in its ongoing projects. He added that following the club’s Annual General Meeting, the committee is working hard towards having a competitive team in the BOV Challenge League.

Chev Mizzi presented the club with a donation.
