The Malta Football Association released the fixtures for Match-Days 1 to 5 for the BOV Premier League 2021/22. The league will kick-off with two matches on Thursday 12th August – Gzira United vs Hibernians at the National Stadium and Balzan vs Sliema Wanderers at the Tony Bezzina Stadium. Both matches kick-off at 19:00.

On Friday 13th, Hamrun Spartans take on Valletta at the National Stadium and Gudja United face Sirens at the Tony Bezzina Stadium while on Saturday 14, Mosta face Birkirkara at the National Stadium and Floriana meet Santa Lucia at the Tony Bezzina Stadium. All matches kick-off at 19:00.

Should any (or all) of the three teams competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualify to play in the third round, their matches will be moved to Monday 16^th August.

Match-Day 2 will be played between August 20 and 22 with the league then resuming on September 11 after the international break.

September matches will be played on Saturdays and Sundays with three matches on a Saturday and three on a Sunday.

Following another international break in October, MD6 is scheduled for 16-18 October, MD7 22-24 October, MD8 29-31 October and following another international break in November, MD9 should be played between 20-22 November, MD10 26-28 November and MD11 3-5 December.
