Kercem Ajax registered their second win in as many matches in the BOV Gozo Football League First Division after defeated Oratory Youths 3-2 at the Gozo Stadium on Monday.
A Pablo Vinicius de Moraes Ferreira penalty put Oratory ahead on the 4th minute but Kercem equalised five minutes later through Luiz Henrique Santana Motta. The latter was sent off for Kercem early in the second half and Oratory regained the lead on the 48th through Rodrigo Ost dos Santos. However Sebastien Martinez Turizo equalised on the 65th and captain Andrew Mizzi handed Kercem the three points three minutes from time.
Nadur Yougsters obtained their first win as they defeated Victoria Hotspurs on Friday thanks to a goal by Marcelo Junior Barbosa nine minutes from time, although they had Ederson Bruno Domingos sent off on the 78th.
Ghajnsielem also registered their first win, beating SK Victoria Wanderers 3-0 on Sunday. Sam Frank Bajada put them ahead on the 66th and a brace by Igor Nedeljkovic on the 89th and 94th sealed the issue.
On Saturday, Xewkija Tigers and Sannat Lions shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
