Degabriele brace paves the way for Hibernians win

Hibernians regained the top spot in the BOV Premier League as they returned to winning ways, defeating Sliema Wanderers 3-0.

The Wanderers therefore remain anchored at the bottom of the table with just three points from six matches.

The Paolites took the lead on the 35th minute thanks to a direct freekick by Jurgen Degabriele which ended in the top left corner.

Twelve minutes in the second half, Hibs doubled the score when off an assist by Wilfried Domoraud from the left, Jurgen Degabriele slotted the ball past Aquilina.

On the hour, Wilfried Domoraud made it 3-0 with a diagonal shot from the left despite the marking by two defenders.

However on 66 minutes, the Paolites were reduced to ten men after Ferdinando Apap received a second yellow card.
