Nadur Youngsters move six points clear

Nadur Youngsters moved six points in the BOV Gozo Football League First Division as they defeated Ghajnsielem 2-1 on Saturday.

Judivan Flor da Silva put Nadur ahead on the 33rd but just before half-time, Johnny Camilleri levelled matters. However Marcelo Barbosa Junior notched the winner on the 64th.

On the other hand, Kercem Ajax and SK Victoria Wanderers shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Neil Camilleri put the Wanderers ahead but Nathaniel Mercieca equalised on the 74th.

Meanwhile in the BOV Gozo Football League Second Division, Qala Saints joined Zebbug Rovers on top.

Qala defeated Gharb Rangers 2-0 with goals by Michael Zerafa on the 44th and Brandon Said on the 90th. On the other hand, Zebbug Rovers were held in a goalless draw by Munxar Falcons.

In another match, St. Lawrence Spurs defeated Xaghra United 3-1. Alen Haska put the Spurs ahead on the 41st and Christopher Cauchi doubled the score on the 59th. Shemar Tristan Blair pulled one back for Xaghra two minutes later but three minutes in added time, Alen Haska sealed the issue with a penalty.
