Gzira United and Challenge League side St. Andrews joined Balzan, Birkirkara, Floriana, Gudja United, Hamrun Spartans, Hibernians, Mosta, Santa Lucia, Sliema Wanderers and Valletta and Challenge League sides Marsaxlokk, St. George’s, Tarxien Rainbows and Zejtun Corinthians in the Round of 16 of the Izibet FA Trophy as the last two matches from the Round of 32 were played on Wednesday.
At the Centenary Stadium, Gzira United defeated National Amateur League side Zabbar St. Patrick 4-0.
Clive Gauci put Gzira ahead on the 26th minute. Gabriel Bohrer Mentz doubled the score on the 59th. Six minutes from time, Jefferson de Assis made it 3-0 and Hytem Kabar added another four minutes in added time.
In the Round of 16, the Maroons take on another Premier League side, Gudja United.

At the Victor Tedesco Stadium, St. Andrews defeated Zebbug Rangers 2-0 in a clash between two Challenge League sides.
Miguel D’Alessandro put the Saints ahead on the 13th minute and twelve minutes from time, Zak Muscat doubled the score.
St. Andrews will be facing Santa Lucia in the next round.
