After suffering a 1-4 defeat to Hibernians in their last league outing, Floriana will be all out to return to winning ways on Sunday as they take on Gzira United in a match from the BOV Premier League Top Six – Final Round at the National Stadium, kick-off at 18:00.
The Greens are therefore second on 45 points, two behind the Paolites. For Floriana, the defeat to Hibernians was the first after five consecutive wins.
Gzira, on the other hand, registered back-to-back wins over Gudja and Sirens and will start the final phase in fifth place on 33 points.
The Maroons will be unable to field their best formation due to the absence of Jefferson de Assis, Clive Gauci and Zachary Scerri but they should welcome back Yuri Messias who returned with the club after his move to a club in the Middle East fell through.
In the previous rounds, Floriana defeated Gzira 2-1 twice.
