Sirens sign Matthew Grech, Andrea Cassar and Sean Cipriott

After securing the services of Canadian forward Promise Akinpelu, Sirens signed three local players – goalkeepers Matthew Grech and Andrea Cassar and midfielder Sean Cipriott.

Twenty-six year old Matthew Grech is a product of Pieta’ Hotspurs. He had a spell on loan with Senglea Athletic before joining San Gwann. He later played for Floriana, Zebbug Rangers and Pembroke Athleta, receiving a number of national team calls.

Twenty-nine year old Andrea Cassar started his career at Hamrun Spartans and following a spell on loan with Pembroke Athleta, he joined Tarxien Rainbows and later played for Floriana and Marsa.

Twenty-four year old Sean Cipriott started his career at the Floriana nursery before joining Balzan with whom he made his Premier League debut. Since then he remained on the books of Balzan although he had two spells on loan with Tarxien Rainbows and Senglea Athletic.
