Gzira United face tricky Gudja United test

After defeating Santa Lucia 3-1 in their first outing, Gzira United face a tricky test as they take on Gudja United in one of the two BOV Premier League matches in programme on Friday at the Centenary Stadium.

Buoyed by the signing of a new three year contract of Maxuell Samurai, the Maroons will be aiming for another three points on Friday but their task will be no easy one considering that Gudja did quite well in their first outing, defeating Mosta 2-1.

Gudja continued to strengthen their squad over the past days with the signing of Argentinian attacking midfielder Nicolas Navarrete.

Meanwhile in the second match, Pieta’ Hotspurs take on Valletta.

The Hotspurs lost 0-2 to Floriana in their first outing and are therefore aiming at collecting their first points but the Citizens, fresh from their fine performance in the 1-1 draw with Hibernians last Sunday, will be all out to claim maximum points from this clash in order to maintain a perfect record.
