Marsa registered their first win in the BOV Challenge League as they defeated Qrendi 4-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.

Following a goalless first half, Lucas Ribeiro de Oliveira put Marsa ahead on the 46th and Augusto Rene Caseres scored twice on the 56th and 61st to hand them a comfortable lead. Luca Brincat added another on the 90th.

Fgura, Sliema and Zejtun lead the way with 9 points, followed by Swieqi on 7, Naxxar on 6, Marsa, Lija, Melita, St. Andrews, Vittoriosa and Tarxien 4, Attard, San Gwann and Mqabba 3, Mtarfa and Zurrieq 2, Qrendi 1, Marsaskala 0.
