Gzira United seek third successive win

Gzira United will be aiming for a third successive win on Sunday as they take on Sirens in one of the two matches in programme at the National Stadium.

The Maroons are currently fourth on 11 points, three behind third-placed Gudja United. They are still unbeaten with three wins in five matches. Sirens, on the other hand, are currently joint-third from bottom with three points together with Zebbug Rangers. They are still seeking their first win, claiming the three points in three draws wtih Floriana, Valletta and Mosta.

Meanwhile in the second match, kick-off at 17:15, Pieta’ Hotspurs face Balzan.

The Hotspurs remain at the bottom of the table without any points after losing their first five matches, scoring one and conceding eighteen goals. Balzan, on the other hand, are currently sixth on nine points with three wins but are coming from a 0-2 defeat to Hibernians.
