Sirens registered a third win in four matches as they defeated Pieta’ Hotspurs 1-0 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.
Winston Muscat’s side joins Valletta in joint-ninth place on 15 points, leaving the Hotspurs anchored at the bottom of the table with just four points.
Sirens scored the all-important goal on the 53rd minute when off a freekick, Ivan Kolev headed the ball home past goalkeeper Dele Alampasu.
