Floriana signed Serbian thirty three year old forward Alen Melunovic.
Melunovic started his career at Partizan before moving to the Czech Republic where he played for FK Teplice, FK Usti nad Labem and FK Varnsdorf. He had a spell with FK Sarajevo in Bosnia Herzegovina before moving to Poland to join Widzew Lodz. He had two short spels once again with FK Teplice and FK Usti nad Labem before joining FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova in Slovakia and later VV Unicum in the Netherlands. Melunovic then moved to Montenegro where he played for Rudar Pljevlja and Buducnost Podgorica before joining Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in China. He had a spell with Guandong Southern Tigers also in China before returning to Serbia to join Napredak. Later he played for Samsunspor in Turkey and Iraklis Thessaloniki in Greece.
Earlier this week, the Greens signed Norwegian attacking midfielder Sindre Osestad.
