January transfer window closes at midnight

The January transfer window closesdon Tuesday at midnight with a number of clubs completing transfers in a bid to strengthen their squads.

The last transfer of the day was that of Romanian thirty year old forward Andrei-Cosmin Ciolacu who joined Birkirkara from Floriana.

Earlier, Mosta secured the services of Australian twenty three year old midfielder Mark Lushchayev and Macedonian forward Andrej Nakov. Luschchayev plaed for UE Gandia in Spain and SC Bruhl in Germany while Nakov started his career with Sirens before moving to Naxxar Lions this summer. The Blues have also signed goalkeeper Luciano Camilleri on loan from Melita.

Brazilian twenty five year old forward Joao Vitor De Oliveira Florencio joined Hibernians on loan from Challenge League side Zurrieq.

Marsaxlokk signed Italian twenty five year old midfielder Claudio Bonanni who spent two and a half years with Birkirkara before moving to FK Hebar in Bulgaria last summer.

Italian twenty seven year old goalkeeper Simone Moschin signed for Pieta’ Hotspurs after playing for Chievo, Renate, Pro Vercelli, Carrarese, Cuneo and Fermana.

Brazilian twenty five year old attacking midfieler Ewertton Jose Costa Silva joined Gzira United while Ricardo Correa left the Maroons to join Sirens.

Congolese midfielder Delvin Chanel N’Dinga, who is 34 years old, joined Balzan after a long career during which he played for Auxerre and Monaco in France, Olympiakos in Greece, Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia, Sivasspor and Antalyaspor in Turkey and more recently for Panetolikos in Greece.

On the other hand, Hamrun Spartans completed the signing of Swedish forward Kalle Holmberg and Brazilian forward Claudio Henrique da Silva Barbosa on loan from Ghajnsielem.
