Following an impressive performance in the UEFA Under-19 Futsal EURO qualifiers, Malta U-19 continued to impress as they reached another stage of the E & L Futsal Knock-Out thanks to a 6-2 win over Fgura United.
The Under-19s always held the upper hand during the match and had Ivin Gatt scoring twice with Amin Louati, Denzel Camilleri, Kieran Debono and Mason Agius scoring the other goals.
A Sebastian Nayar double reduced the gap for Fgura.
St. George’s had to sweat hard to obtain their most desired qualification after beating Marsaskala 4-3 in the battle of the south. The Cottonera side had Jovica Milijic who netted a brace while Sean Parnis and Faisal Alnakou were also on the mark. The Southseasiders scored through Dylan Caruana, Amir Ashtyani and Craig Pickard.
