Ten Premier League players suspended

Rowen Muscat (Valletta) was suspended for three matches while Kemar Reid (Floriana), Andre Prates and Hubert Vella (Gudja), Juan Cruz Aguilar and Oscar Carniello (Marsaxlokk), Clinton Bangura (Pieta’), Nicholas Pulis (Santa Lucia), Enmy Pena Beltre (Valletta) and Leandro Almeida da Silva (Zebbug) were handed a one match ban.

Rowen Muscat will skip the games against Sirens, Birkirkara and Hamrun. Also ruled out of the match against Sirens is Pena Beltre. Reid will miss the game against Hamrun Spartans. Aguilar and Carniello are ruled out of the clash between Marsaxlokk and Zebbug with Almeida also missing the same game. Prates, Vella and Pulis will skip Gudja vs Santa Lucia and Bangura the game against Gzira.

In the Challenge League, Jeremy Busuttil (Zurrieq) was handed a four-match ban. Dylan Caruana (Fgura), Ryan Fenech (Marsa), Dario Aquilina (Marsaskala), Tobi Akiti and Courage Jesusemen Omoruanzoje (San Gwann), Gilberto Martins Leite Carrara (Swieqi) were all banned for one match.

On the other hand, Andrea Hammett and Cedric Zahra (Kalkara), Jacob Farrugia (Mellieha), Leon Theuma (Qormi), Glenn Bonnici (Sta. Venera) and Jake Lovegrove (Xghajra) were all suspended for one match in the Amateur League.
